On 20th August, we held our inaugural reunion event “ONE NAPS DAY” on the Lewis Street Grounds.
This is the first event of its kind to be hosted by our alumni association. Over the course of the day scores of alumni turned up to represent their decades. We saw representation from all decades going back to the 1960s and before. Each alumni era took part in a host of events, from fun activities and races to sports competitions and not forgetting a grueling all fours competition and curry duck cookout.
The day was one filled with brotherhood, teamwork, nostalgia and unity. There was fun for the entire family as the kids were treated to snacks, games, face painting and of course, the bouncy castle.
The response and feedback we have gotten from this event has been nothing but positive. We look forward to hosting this event annually and to extend its reach and scope by promoting it in a more dynamic way so that alumni the world over can plan ahead and join in the camaraderie and festivity of our official reunion.
