ALUMNI

My years at Naps I will always cherish. Vivid memories, lasting friendships and unforgettable sporting triumphs during a nurturing period in my life. I developed critical thinking and positive world views, being the beneficiary of a world class holistic education. I stand proud amongst the ranks of Naparima College Graduates.

Marc Anthony Honore

1995-2002-Professional Athlete - Benfica Portugal (Volleyball)

September ’54 I left The Hill with fond memories:  the big boys’ lime under the salmon tree: HC girls beautifying The Hill: aquatics sports at Flat Rock: Mr. Halls’ “blind man on a trotting horse” who could see answers to Latin questions: Singh’s doubles six cents and bara a penny: Speech Day at Empire Theatre: intercol with our final chant, “We go win. . .nex’ year” and ’53 when we did, buck-up N-A-P-S

Fred Thornhill

1949-1954

My experience was one that allowed me to tap into my capabilities. It facilitated my development into a well-rounded individual and provided a springboard for the academic and sporting excellence I was able to achieve.

Joel Bailey

1994-1998

Academic life was exceptional and the teaching staff exemplary, however, the elation associated with Intercol victories will remain etched in my memory for eons to come.

Daren Dhoray

1989-1996

Naps provided the ideal environment—physical and intellectual—that stimulated my all-round growth—sporting and academic. Living in the school's dormitory accelerated my development in cricket, table-tennis and life skills. Wonderful, caring teachers, among them Irma Meighlal and Wilson Ramlal, took care of the academics.

Noel Kalicharan dec.

1964-1970 -Lecturer/Author, Comp Sci/Maths UWI, 1976-2018

Naparima College must be credited for my successes in the fields of Sports and Education, but more importantly, for instilling and inculcating in me the values of honesty, hard work, discipline, commitment, friendship, tolerance and humility. In one phrase, mindfullness of others, can sum up my experiences there.

Samuel Badree

1993-2000-Cricketer, Curriculum Officer

My school life taught me that no person exists in isolation. We all share a duty to each other, to our heritage, and to our common values. This duty always exists, whether as a child to their family, as a student to their school, or as a citizen to their country. This lesson undoubtedly has shaped, and will continue to shape, my future.

Leonardo Chiti

2012-2019-Head Boy 2018-2019
